ACNC Limited Source-Available Demo License

ACNC (Analyzer for Computer Numerical Control Machines) is distributed free of charge as demo/community
editions of the ACNC product line. This license applies to the following editions ("the Software"):

  - ACNC Python Edition,
  - ACNC Web demo (the browser / PWA version, e.g. acncdemo.dromation.com), and
  - ACNC for Android (demo / beta application, package com.dromation.acnc),

including their source files, bundled web assets and documentation. The Web demo and ACNC for Android are
demonstration versions developed by Dromation in cooperation with Kovigal d.o.o.

A full commercial edition, ACNC Next, and an enterprise edition, ACNC MES, are separate closed-source
Dromation products. Nothing in this license grants rights to those products.

1. License grant

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use, copy, and modify the Software
for personal, non-commercial, and educational purposes only. You may install ACNC for Android on your own
devices and use the Web demo in your browser for these purposes.

2. Redistribution

Redistribution of the Software or modified versions is permitted only for non-commercial purposes. Any
redistribution must include this license and the file THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt, and must preserve attribution
to Dromation. Redistributed Android packages must not be presented as official Dromation releases unless they
are unmodified and signed by Dromation.

3. Commercial use

Commercial use, including incorporation into proprietary products, internal industrial deployment for paid
services, resale, consulting delivery, or production use, requires a separate written agreement with Dromation.

4. Attribution and notices

You may not remove or alter copyright notices, license statements, product identity, or other proprietary
markings from the Software or derived works.

5. Third-party components

The Software includes third-party components (for ACNC for Android: usb-serial-for-android, AndroidX libraries
and the Kotlin standard library). They remain under their own licenses, listed with their full texts in
THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt. Nothing in this license restricts rights granted by those licenses for those components.

6. Safety-critical use

These demo/community editions are not certified for production, safety-critical, or machine-control
deployment. CNC machines, drives and controllers can cause equipment damage or personal injury if connected or
commanded incorrectly. Users are responsible for all electrical, mechanical, operational, and legal safety
requirements, including the correct electrical interface (e.g. RS232 vs RS485), galvanic isolation, and
verified communication settings.

7. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited
to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, safety, uptime, or
correctness. Beta releases may be incomplete and may not have been tested with every device or machine.

8. Limitation of liability

In no event shall Dromation, Kovigal d.o.o. or contributors be liable for any claim, damage, loss, injury,
downtime, data loss, machine damage, business interruption, or other liability arising from use of the Software.
